Excellent Heer black Panzer EM M42 cap, example made entirely of black ribbed trikot wool, it is lined in light brownish colored rayon, with black maker stamp (no more visible due to wear). The size is an 56 I would say as the 6 is slightly visible, having a single black finished ventilation grommet per side, the black painted pebbled buttons are originally sewn, the subdued woven national emblem and separate rosette are machine sewn with the rosette being neatly joined at the eagle's lower wreath, the cap was worn but it is absent any damage or repair, one of the harder pieces of Panzer headgear to find.
